We have observed Veteran's Day in many different ways over the years but this is the first year that the boys didn't have the day off from school. Both schools did a Veteran's Day program to make up for the lack of a school holiday. Both programs were heartfelt and filled with uniformed members of the military both past and present. Matt and Danny sang with their grades as part of their programs, and Nate was able to hear from a teacher at his school who is retired from the Air Force.
We continue to feel gratitude to all those that gave some and some that gave all. Thank a solider. http://www.gratitudecampaign.org/
