Chores

Our boys have decided that the word "chores" is a bad word. Every time I say it, I get looks that could kill but we keep trying.

We are currently renting a house that sits on 1/2 acre. It was a real selling point for us since the boys have only had a postage stamp to play in for the last 5 years. But having all that yard does require maintenance, mowing being a big part of it. Since we have never owned anything bigger than a postage stamp our electric lawn mower has been wonderful, but it is not so great for a LARGER yard. We are trying to be thrifty and making it work for the time being. This leads to training the boys to be our slave labor and mow the yard.
